Mars Media Family CEO Andrew Mars has managed television and radio stations in top 10 markets, non-rated markets, in Spanish, Korean, and English languages for more than 25 years. Always with an eye on creative revenue generation and maintaining EBITA, Mars stations always delivered tremendous power ratios with the largest operating margins. Andy reviews the market, the ratings, position if any, and creates multiple opportunities for his client stations to generate money. With management positions at CBS Radio and Liberman Broadcasting, Mars was developing multi-platform selling programs, before the term existed. Event Marketing, grass roots programs, cross selling with television and radio, and product integration were all tools for success. The most critical elements were the development of people; identifying and recruiting candidates with the commitment, creativity, and dedication to be successful. Mars looked way beyond the borders of broadcast sales people to find only the best for his stations. Now as a Broadcast Sales Consultant, put MMF to work for you. If you need a turnaround expert, Mars is your man, looking to kick up your first quarter, or wanting to lay in a foundation and sales culture, let Andrew Mars put things in place for you.
Again…..awesome! Keep’em coming baby!!
Fabulous! Go close everybody else now…David Haymore
You WOW’ed at the Hispanic session at the fall NAB, and your encore in Dallas at the RAB was just as successful. So this is just a quick acknowledgement for once again stepping up to the plate at the RAB Hispanic-track session, “Monetizing the Power of the Hispanic Audience”. Not only was your presentation researched and put together in a very professional manner, but your personal style enhanced the value of the information and made it very relatable. The special element that LBI brings to the table with the ability to sell across both Radio and TV platform gives LBI a strong USP. And your closing slide with personal greetings from your talent was a real crowd pleaser. (And… did you notice the several financial folks that attended this session?) The industry is better for your participation…including as an operator at the Corporate level, and as a passionate broadcaster and engaging speaker who gives back to Radio as you continue to enhance our profession. On behalf of the Radio Advertising Bureau, a sincere “Thank You.”Lynn Anderson
